  • Electronic Engineer

    As part of our ongoing development of down-hole communications technology the Electronic Engineering department are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Electronic Engineer to join our team. The successful applicant will work primarily within the Electronics R&D team to expand and enhance the range of services that Metrol provides.


  • Electronics Assembler

    This role is for an Electronic Assembler to work as part of the Production team and be involved in the development, assembly, test, and servicing of electronic products and ancillary equipment.


  • Electronics Technician

    This role is for an Electronics Technician to work as part of our Electronics Workshop team. You will be involved in the assembly, test, and repair of a broad range of electronics required for the development of downhole electronic tools.


  • Production Engineer - Mechanical

    The Production Engineer role is to effectively engineer the transition of a product from R&D project through to production. This will involve providing the necessary guidance, documentation and information required to allow ongoing production and support of our mechanical products, while doing so in accordance with company processes and procedures, and ensuring that best practice manufacturing philosophies, methods and techniques are adopted.


  • Embedded Engineer

    We are seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our growing R&D team. Depending on the candidates experience and aptitude, the role will carry with it significant responsibility. The candidate will design, develop and test firmware for downhole and surface tools. They will be responsible for the full firmware development life-cycle.


  • R&D Project Manager

    The R&D Project Manager will work within the project team to continually develop, operate, and maintain the R&D project management system. They will work with R&D project engineers to manage the scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resource of R&D projects.


  • Technical Author

    This role is to produce technical documentation for all areas of the business that is both methodical and logical in presentation and easily interpreted, always ensuring that documents are created and updated in accordance with company document control processes and procedures.


  • R&D Project Engineer

    The R&D Project Engineer will work within a team of people from operational and engineering disciplines, dealing with all aspects of project work from concept through to delivery.


  • Electronics QC Inspector

    We are looking for an Electronics QC Inspector to join our team in the Electronics Workshop, performing quality control checks and activities in relation to Metrol’s electronics components, tools and assemblies.
